Last Week at Local Wisdom, Week 38
Last week was a busy planning week for myself and some of my Local Wisdom brethren. Michael and Tim spent a good portion of the week laying out and working through a detailed presentation for the IT team over at ELS. Throughout the week I would walk by the conference room and see Tim drawing out a diagrams or flow charts covering the entire white board. ”Pretty important stuff” I thought to myself.
Tracy, Pinaki, David, and myself were preparing for a the Princeton Chamber of Commerce 29th Annual Trade & Culinary Showcase. As Local Wisdom is freshly moved to the Princeton Area, we felt this annual trade fair was a fantastic opportunity to rub elbows with fellow business owners in area. More importantly having a booth there, would be a great lead generator. With fellow business owners and patrons walking around, you never know who has website design, development or curation need.
Week 39 should be interesting as we are attending the Trade Show and have been in talks with some strong prospects located locally and over seas. With my 100% sales close rate goal for 4th quarter, I am interested to see how these potential opportunities will play themselves out.
