Nov 1, 2005 - Being a small business has its advantages: being your own boss, having your creative juices flowing constantly, not getting dragged into the mundane everyday drag of corporate America. However, being a small business also has its challenges: benefits for employees, cash-flow, less resources for disposal. Fortunately for U.S. small businesses there exists the Small Business Administration (SBA), of which Local Wisdom is graciously certified by.

The U.S. SBA seeks to maintain and strengthen the economy by aiding, counseling, assisting, and protecting the interests of small businesses. For over 50 years the SBA has been helping small companies by providing training, hosting events, and encouraging corporations to purchase from them.
