Introducing Weather Re-Imagined. A product of the Local Wisdom innovation lab, Weatherwise gives users a visually entertaining way to receive their weather forecast, sans cliché clip art and overused weather icons. Animated personas and moving landscapes animate based on wind speed, precipitation, and time of day including sunrise, sunset, day, and night. Available on iPhone and Android, Weatherwise is a 2011 Davey Award Gold winner, a 2011 WebAward Design Standard of Excellence winner, and a five-time 2011 New Jersey Art Directors Club award recipient.

User Interactions

• Completely change all visuals and animations through the in-app store
• Select from five, different themes
• Geolocation for current weather display
• Ability to add and save locations
• View the hourly weather details including humidity, visibility, precipitation, and more

Illustrated Themes

Zen Tree
This standard, free theme available on Weatherwise features a tranquil Bonsai tree that reacts to changes in weather. Watch the lantern swing as the wind changes. Eleven different visuals complete the Zen Tree theme.

8-Bit
Inspired by the 8-bit pixel art style synonymous with early 90’s video games, the setting of this 8-bit RPG inspired scene will change throughout different weather conditions during both night and day. View your weather 8-bit style through 11, different visuals.

Lost Robot
No longer in use and left to rust, the Lost Robot sits and waits for his master. Depending upon the time of day and weather condition, he illuminates the forest floor with vibrant colors. Learn the speed of the wind as the Lost Robot billows smoke from his back. Watch the Lost Robot in all of his glory through 11, different visuals.

The Woobles
These fun loving creatures enjoy the art of staring. Tilt your phone away from you and watch as the Woobles keep looking directly at YOU. Enjoy getting your forecast from the whole Wooble family, complete with 11 different Woobles ready to unearth themselves during certain times of day and weather conditions.

Personas
See a woman clad with diamonds when it’s icy. Watch a sleepy man peer into the bathroom mirror to indicate a foggy day. The Personas theme gives you 11 unique, animated personas as the weather and time of day changes.
