7 Do’s and Don’ts for Co-Creation from Local Wisdom and J&J
Even the wintery Wisconsin conditions could not keep Pinaki Kathiari and Steve Garguilo from having a great time presenting to members of the Milwaukee BMA in their talk, “7 Do’s and Don’ts of Co-Creation.”
Pinaki and Steve observed that interesting things happen in today’s business setting. Managers and employees meet to discuss what there are going to do, they go off and do it in a vacuum, they meet again to receive feedback from the powers that be, they debate, they revise again and again, and finally produce a product that may or may not resonate with everyone. If a companies’ product misses the mark, everyone is to blame for the waste of time and resources.
In their talk, Steve and Pinaki discussed seven significant characteristics of how to bring people together to co-create. Co-creation is used with clients and agencies, companies and customers, between internal departments, any number multi-disciplined teams looking to produce something greater than they could on their own.
In their talk, Steve and Pinaki discuss the important aspects of how to bring people together to create fantastic outcomes. These elements can range from knowing why and when you should co-create, to facilitation. By keeping a bias towards action, you’ll learn what it takes to produce remarkable work together that hits the mark from all angles.
