Elevating an already upscale shopping experience

South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa, CA) is a global shopping destination with more than 250 extraordinary boutiques, critically acclaimed restaurants, and the celebrated Segerstrom Center for the Arts. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, South Coast Plaza turned to fashion marketers Brogan Tennyson Group (BTG) and digital agency Local Wisdom to collaborate on a website deserving of such a landmark occasion. From the moment we opened our doors to BTG—literally, as their designers shared desks with ours at our Lambertville, NJ office—there was an unmistakable magic in the air. BTG provided us with deep insights into retail marketing and the nuances of the South Coast Plaza brand. Fused with our expertise in user experience and information architecture, we designed a luxurious yet intuitive browsing experience. Expanded functionality for the 50th anniversary redesign includes an interactive directory map, searchable events page, and blog, as well as key optimizations for mobile responsiveness.
